Alors, c'est partis. Here commenceth my self study tool and search for kindred spirits. In short I hope to write in a mixture of French German and English (altho not all three at the same time I promise) while documenting my tour of Europe.

Thus improving my language skills and preserving my experiences for future examination, rather than let them slip through the holes in my lousy memory.

I write not to attract readers but rather with the hope that should any appear that they won't be completely bored and that they might have the indulgence to correct me (my English, French or German!).

I am myself a pedant and relish the thought of being on the receiving end of such formative feedback. But be gentle to start with!

Here's hoping I stick to this!
